Bespoke Manufacturing

Techmarkets specialises in the design and manufacture of plastic products, particularly accessory products for OEM companies, system manufacturers and major distributors of components.

Initially, we discuss with the client the product requirements, for example the application, fit, finish, operating temperature, special colours or logos. From this information we can select appropriate materials and produce a prototype design.

Rapid prototyping can be used to produce a sample of the initial design without the need for expensive trial tooling at the early stage. The prototype gives the client a good idea of the finished product and modifications can be suggested at this stage.

Once the design is agreed, production tooling can be manufactured using the services of specialist toolmakers. The production tooling is tested on the production machinery and final production samples are submitted to the client. Minor modifications can still
be done at this late stage.

Following approval, full production of the product can commence.
