The IFIX Insulation Fixing is a one piece, Friction Fit insulation fixing used for securing soft insulation to brick work, concrete and similar hard base materials.

The IFIX fixing has a 90mm diameter head to give an effective support area for soft insulation material. To install the fixing, a 10mm diameter hole is drilled through the insulation and into the base material to a depth of at least 30mm.

The fixing is then driven in by hammer until the head is flush with the surface of the insulation.

IFIX is available in five lengths to cover various insulation thicknesses, 100mm, 115mm, 125mm, 135mm and 150mm.

Typical applications for this product are over cladding and rainscreen cladding of existing buildings where a layer of insulation is added beneath an outer cladding system.
