Membrane Fixing For Damproofing
The membrane fixing plug is used in damp proofing applications, to secure the specialist membranes to the base material, usually brickwork and concrete. Manufactured from glass filled polyamide, the fixing gives a high strength, corrosion resistant fixing. Application requires drilling of a 10mm diameter hole through the membrane and in to the solid base material. A central hole in the fixing will accept a woodscrew for securing timber battens for internal lining systems. A separate sealing washer is available to provide a water tight seal under the fixing head.
