The PANEL FIX insulation fixing is a one piece, friction fit insulation fixing for securing mesh, rigid insulation and bonded panels to brickwork, concrete and similar hard base materials

PANEL FIX has a 35mm diameter head with a special rough surface to provide a key for plaster and render finishes.

To install the fixing, an 8mm diameter hole is drilled through the insulation into base material to a minimum depth of 50mm.

The fixing is then driven in by a hammer until the head is flush or slightly recessed into the panel surface to allow for a smooth render finish.

PANEL FIX is available in five legths 50mm, 70mm, 90mm, 110mm and 130mm to cover a wide range of insulation thicknesses.

Typical applications are fixing insulations beneath cladding systems and securing of insulation panels, waterproofing membranes and plasterboard panels for internal lining sytems. The insulation needs to be of the rigid type, EPS or compressed high density Rockwool.

NB Support Washer

For applications fixing soft insulation with Panel Fix and Ex Fix fastening products, it is recommended that additional support is provided for the insulation.

Techmarkets can supply the 90mm diameter support washer to fit under the head of Panel Fix and Ex Fix fixings.
