Insulation retaining washers are used in conjunction with screws to secure insulation to timber, sheet steel and other non standard base materials.

The washers are 46mm diameter, manufactured from high strength Nylon, and feature recessed mounting for the screw head. The recess feature ensures that the screw head is well below the washer surface, reducing cold bridging and allowing for movement without damaging any surface finish applied.

Two versions are available, short stem with 5mm recess and long stem (Red Version) with 12mm recess.

Typical application areas are External Wall Insulation Systems, Pre Fabricated Building and Timber Frame Construction.
